The information sent to Stackdriver Logging for Memcached is collected from the Memcached Logs file. Below is an example of the events that can be seen from the Memcached Logs.

Log Collection Setup

Follow these steps to setup log collection from Memcached.

Pre-requisites

Find the file location for the Memcached logs.

Configure a Memcached Source

1. Install the BindPlane Log Agent on the host system.
2. Login to BindPlane and select the Logs tab.

3. Select the Sources tab.

4. In the top-right portion of the screen, click on the Add Source Configuration button

5. Choose Memcached
6. Fill out the Memcached configuration options.
