BindPlane Sources

"Sources" are the IT infrastructure, workloads, and virtualization platforms the BindPlane service gathers data from.

In the following entries you will find:

Data Collection Setup:
A high-level description on how data is collected from the Source technology.

Network Requirements:
The ports and protocols used to collect data. This is typically used to tune security settings and firewall.

Least Privilege User:
How to setup a read-only user with the minimal permissions needed to gather data.

Supported Versions:
What versions, (firmware, releases, etc) are supported for data collection.

Metrics List:
A listing of all the metrics collected that are organized by resource in BindPlane.
